Two Rakahs Before Fajr are More Valuable than the Earth and Everything in it

رَكْعَتَا الفَجْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَما فِيهَا

“Two rakahs of (voluntary prayer before) Fajr are more valuable than this earth and everything that is in it.”

سبحان الله، ركعتان خفيفتان تُصليهما قبل الفجر خير من الدنيا وما فيها، اللهم لك الحمد، الدنيا ما هي الدنيا التي أنت فيها فقط الدنيا منذ خُلقت إلى قيام الساعة بما فيها من كل الزخارف من ذهب فضة ومتاع وقصور ومراكب وغير ذلك، هاتان الركعتان خير من الدنيا وما فيها لأن هاتين الركعتين باقيتان والدنيا زائلة

“Subhanallah! Two light rakahs that you pray before Fajr are more valuable than this earth and everything it contains — to You belongs all praise, O Allah! This does not just refer to the earth you live in now, it includes the earth from the time it was created until the time of Resurrection and everything it contains from adornments such as gold, silver, luxuries, palaces, boats, etc. These two rakahs are more valuable than this earth and everything it contains because the reward of these two rakahs remains, but the earth (and everything in it) will vanish.”
