Let your main focus in this life be Allah’s pleasure and the Hereafter

“The two things I fear most for you are: following your desires and wishful thinking (i.e. wishing without acting). Following desires deters from the truth and wishful thinking causes one to forget the Hereafter. This life is leaving us and the Hereafter is approaching. Each one has its “children” — so be from the children of the Hereafter and not from the children of this life. Today there is actions and no judgement, and tomorrow there will be judgement and no more (accountable) actions.”

— ’Ali Ibn Abi Talib

Allah will join the believer with his descendants in Paradise — even if they are not equal in good deeds!

“O Allah! There is no life worth living except the life of the Hereafter.”
